The History
Currently on the seventh successor of this legendary soy sauce company. It dates back so far that even we don’t know everything. It’s time we glanced back at the business tree.
Initially, it was a brewing (alcohol) company.
1821 Yorozu Town, Fukuoka JAPAN
Hukuman Soy Sauce is established by Daijirou Shiraki.
1st Generation : Daijirou Shiraki (1795 – 1862)
2nd Generation : Tashichi Shiraki (1835 – 1868)
3rd Generation : Hanshirou Shiraki
4th Generation : Hangorou Shiraki
5th Generation : Masamoto Shiraki
6th Generation : Masashirou Shiraki

During this period, Fukuoka city begin a infrastructure modernization period and the construction of the national highway and the landfill prevents the continuation of the business. Hukuman Shoyu temporary stalls soy sauce production and sales.
7th Generation : Daichi Ohama | Receives family business from the Masashirou Shiraki in 2009.
2009 | Opens soy sauce tasting bar in Oyafuko, Fukuoka. With a new approach, company strides to provide a healthier, reduced sodium, aroma-rich soy sauce.
2010 | Spray soy sauce is released to the market.
2011 | Successfully completes the production of Soy Zero, the world’s first sodium free soy sauce in spray format.
2012 | Participates in the reduce sodium summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
2013 | Invited to speak at WHO’s (World Health Organization) salt reduction forum in Sidney, Australia.
